The Shield is a faith coalition dedicated to advancing Biblical truth in Wisconsin civics and culture.

 

we are building a long-term Christ-focused infrastructure, as commanded by Jesus, 'Upon this rock I will build my Ekklesia'.  (Matthew 16:18) The original greek definition of 'Ekklesia'  ἐκκλησία does not mean church, but rather "the assembly or gathering of the citizens" in city-states of Ancient greece.  Its prefix 'ek' means “out of” or “from", with its root of the verb 'kaleo', meaning “to call".  God has been calling us, His Salt & Light, into the public square for nearly two millennia, but we have willingly played it safe behind church walls due to blind obedience to weakened translations and religious psy-op.

Biblical Believers will no longer remain muzzled and restrained by the belief that salvation is only your ticket to heaven.  'Salvation' in the original greek 'Sozos' is multiplex-  To save or deliver from danger; To heal, make whole, cure from disease; To preserve or keep from corruption. 

And the church has sorely failed in the latter.
